Fees: As of November 1st, 2007 the scale of fees for professional attendance by Professor Kefford will be as shown in the Table.
Gap-Free billing is available for patients in participating health insurance funds receiving chemotherapy at Westmead Private and the Hills Private Hospitals.
Non privately-insured patients receiving chemotherapy at Westmead and Blacktown Hospitals will not be charged the gap for chemotherapy services.
Holders of Health Benefits Cards should present these to the receptionist at each visit.
Please note:
All fees are payable on attendance. Accounts will not be issued. Bankcard, Mastercard, Visa and Eftpos are all accepted.
We regret that bulk billing is not available.
Why are the fees more than the Medicare rebate?
The reasons for this are set out in the AMA Document on Fees .
Please note that Professor Kefford’s fees are more than 15% lower than the fees recommended by the AMA, of which he is a member. Fees from November 2007
